nearly every European airline serves Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), along with the majority of budget carriers. airlines flying to the island include British Airways, Easy Jet, Jet2, Ryanair + Thomas Cook
unfortunately, there is no direct flight to Palma but BA, Emirates, Etihad + KLM have good flight routes. the quickest flight connections are through Barcelona, Zurich, Frankfurt/Munich, or the UK
we’d recommend booking flights as early as possible due to the school summer holidays
for the welcome drinks, guests will need to arrange their own taxis to the venue + booking in advance is advised
price for taxis do vary depending on peak times but please see below approx. costs:
Palma – Puerto Portals: 25 -30 euros approx.
Palma – Puerto Andraxt: 40 – 45 euros approx.
Puerto Portals – Puerto Andraxt: 25 euros approx.
for the wedding, we will be providing transport for guests staying in Palma + Puerto Portals. Please find times + locations for transport on the wedding day below:
Departure 4.45pm – Palma to Son Berga
Collection point: Plaça de la Feixina, Palma
Departure 4.40pm – Puerto Portals to Son Berga
Collection point: OD Hotel, Puerto Portals
for return journeys, pick up will be at 2am
for those not staying near to any of the above collection points will need to arrange their own transport but please note that taxis are extremely limited + must be booked in advance
for the newlywed barbeque brunch we have pre-booked + subsidised transport for guests staying in Palma + Puerto Portals. the pre-booked transport, if you wish to use it, will cost 15 euros per head (return trip)

for return journeys, we have arranged staggered shuttles back to all pick up locations from 6pm onwards
our wedding is taking place at Son Berga which is located in Alaró, a remote village set in the southern slopes of the Sierra Tramuntana mountain range. accommodation options in Alaró are limited so have suggested other great areas that offer a variety of accommodation options
A small, three-star hotel, located right on the seafront, next to all the main bars + restaurants in the port
MoreA 4-star hotel with great facilities including an à la carte restaurant, poolside snack bar, spa, small hair salon, and large outdoor swimming pool, plus a hotel bar which does excellent cocktails! it is a 15 min walk down to the main bars + restaurants in the port, or a 5 euro taxi ride which may be preferable in the evening

golf on the island is reasonably priced - if you want to get out for 18 holes, we would recommend Son Gual, Santa Ponsa, Andratx Golf Club + Club de Golf Alcanada
the vineyard boasts gorgeous scenery - enjoy local white, red, rosé and sparkling wines
shopping in Palma comes highly recommended (make sure to have an Aperol Spritz pitstop at Cappucino)
if you are staying in or around Puerto Portals, head down to the port and check out Flanigan’s, Wellies or Cappuccino for a great afternoon or evening dinner

to kick off the celebrations, we have organised some pre-wedding welcome drinks + tapas from 7.30pm – 10.30pm at Lilas Beach Club, Puerto Portals
dress code is smart casual and drinks will take place on the outside terrace where shade will be available
the marriage ceremony begins at six o clock, so all guests are requested to arrive at Son Berga at five thirty. we will be providing transport to + from the venue for all guests, who are requested to meet at one of two transport collection points. please visit the transport section for details on pick up locations + arrival times
dress code is formal
for one last celebration + those still standing, we are hosting a newlywed barbeque brunch at our villa, finca es cabas, for everyone to relax + let their hair down. cocktails + bloody marys will be served from one o clock onwards + transportation will be provided. please visit the transport section for details on pick up locations + arrival times
music, drinks + food will all be provided by us so please come hungry!
dress code is casual (bring your swimwear)
we really appreciate all of you taking the time + expense to travel to Mallorca to celebrate with us + therefore do not expect gifts. for those of you who would still like to get us a little something, we have set up a honeymoon fund that is available for contribution but please do not feel obliged.
